Bombers Bruce Beilfuss and Andy Vanica travel to Melbourne this month as part of the US Revolution. The Revolution are scheduled to play six games in twelve days starting August 27. They are seeded third overall and look to battle Papa New Guinea and New Zealand for the top spot. Their time in Australia will be documented blog style at Bombers Down Under . Welcome to the Milwaukee Bombers official website. We are an amateur Australian Rules Football club. We promote "footy" as an exciting, competitive and challenging sport. We are members of the Mid American Australian Rules Football League (MAAFL) and the United States Australian Rules Football League (USAFL). If you are interested in 'having a kick,' we have both a men's and a women's team, and all are welcome to join us at practice, Wednesday nights in Germantown at Friedenfeld Park 6pm. Joomla Popin Window by DART CreationsOn Saturday August 9, the Bombers traveled to Minnesota to take part in Footypalooza. Also joining the Bombers were the KC Power and Minnesota Freeze. The day was highlighted by a Bonbers victory over the Freeze 110-31 to continue their march towards a MAAFL championship. The Bombers now sit atop the MAAFL standings on percentage with a game in hand over Chicago and Nashville. |
